An out-performing and stable London-based hedge fund is currently seeking a skilled investment analyst to join its compact investment team. The London-based advisory company manages three offshore funds, and makes investments chiefly involving long and short equity positions, occasionally dipping into other asset classes where opportunity is perceived. Total assets under management are $400 million; plans are in place to grow the funds to circa $1 billion in the near future, again flying in the face of current convention. The successful candidate for this role will work closely with the portfolio manager as an idea generator; appropriate resources will be provided to make the research process as effective as possible.

The successful individual will have a consistent and outstanding track record of successful investment in the equity space. A relevant professional qualification, within accounting, financial analysis, and/or business administration, is desirable, but not essential; the ability to interact and communicate successfully within a small environment is a key characteristic sought.

Remuneration is to be competitive, and further incentives are to be put in place as the company expands.
