Our client is a world leading Commerce and Industry based provider of information and data to the banking and finance sectors and due to significant growth are currently looking to recruit a professional Global Revenue Controller into the Group Finance Team. The group operates globally from 10 countries and is rapidly growing both organically and through an aggressive M&A program. The Global Revenue Controller will report directly to the Finance Director and will be expected to lead the global revenue process.
Key responsibilities
The Global Revenue Controller will be a highly visible role and will concentrate on new/improved processes to ensure zero cash leakage, implement/redesign software to monitor cash cycles, build tools to alert to any future performance issues, deliver the global revenue program, enforce procedures in newly acquired business units, act as the technical champion with interpretation of contractual terms, review the Global bad debt policy, provide strategic input to commercial terms and work with finance, sales and product teams.
Key skills required
-Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA with strong PLC background within a multi national
-Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellence in revenue recognition
-UK GAAP/IFRS and ideally US GAAP
-Experience in dealing with complex client contracts
-Excellent systems knowledge including SAP, Salesforce and MS Office
-Desire to work within a progressive and high growth business
