Our client one of the worlds leading music companies is looking for a Head of Credit Management to join their finance team

Main Role and Responsibilities:
Financial Control: Management of credit risk:
•Ensuring insurance cover is in place
•Review bad debt provisions
•Set peak/non peak limits
•Manage recovery process for bad debts
Commercial:
•Managing and reviewing the insurance contract on a periodic basis
•Reviewing procedures/policies including risk analysis and insurance
•Managing insolvency/litigation activities
•Managing the paperwork to customers during the monthly billing cycle
•Management of new account applications
OSP/GPO Liaison
•Managing the process around escalations with the OSP, Commercial, Distributions and Customers
•Set KPIs for invoicing, bad debt ageing, query resolution, account master data management
•Facilitate process to ensure business compliance to resolve queries
•Work with the Global Process Owners and the OSP to develop financial systems and procedures for recording, reporting and analysing performance
Financial Reporting:
•Provide and manage reporting on KPIs
•Manage reporting on a monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis
Relationship Building
•Management of internal/external relationships
•Building relationships across the business and on-going interaction with the wider finance community
Team Leadership
•Proactively encourage/support and deliver employee development and talent management initiatives for the department
•Recruitment and selection of appropriate talent for the team
•The management, training, performance and development of the staff in the department
•Maintain and develop effective two-way communication

Key Skills Preferred:
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Experience of people management
•Highly numerate
•Prviously have worked for 4+ at a Credit Manager level
•Excellent working knowledge of Excel and SAP and other IT packages
•Strong understanding of insolvency and litigation processes
