Top tier investment bank requires a FX Product Controller with a strong numerical background to take over one of the exotic business lines covering risk production and P&L and balance sheet controls.
Main roles and responsibilities:
·Supporting and controlling on the Exotics line within Global FX
·Running the detailed P&L Explain and Risk Calculations
·P&L generation and sign off
·Verification and analysis of new of exotic trades and document significant new deals for senior management review
·Running and improving controls over FX desk processes
·Position reconciliation, front and back office systems
·Coordination and reporting of outstanding items and current issues
·Involvement in strategic architecture migration development and testing
Key skills and experience required:
·FX or IR Option vanilla PCG experience and looking to expand into Exotics space or have Exotics PCG experience in FX or other asset classes
·Numerate/Finance/Economics Degree, 2:1 preferred (or overseas equivalent)
·ACA/CIMA/relevant accounting qualification (or overseas equivalent)
·Understanding of control environments
·Strong numeric skills
·Ability to manipulate financial and risk information for analysis
·Use of Excel macros and Access/SQL queries
