Tennant Company is a multi award winning, NYSE listed world leader in designing, manufacturing and marketing solutions that help create a cleaner, safer world. As a result of a strategic restructure the business now seeks to appoint a UK Financial Controller to be based at their UK Headquarters in Northampton.
Reporting into the EMEA Finance Manager in The Netherlands, with dotted line responsibility to the UK Country Manager, this is a key role within the senior UK management team where you support decision making processes, strategic thinking & costs controlling through full responsibility for Tennant UK’s Financial administration. This will encompass management accounts & reporting, balance sheet management, cash flow control, budgeting and forecasting as well as statutory accounting, audit preparation and tax submissions. You will also have responsibility for leading and developing a small team.
This wide reaching role will require you to operate across functions - from shop floor personnel to main board directors. You will therefore be strong of character with first class communication & interpersonal skills and the ability to drive through initiatives. Technically astute with proven experience within UK reporting you will have previous experience of working as part of a large global business - ideally within the manufacturing industry.
Suitable candidates will be qualified in either practice or industry and will be hands on, career minded, ambitious, driven & possessing the ability to grow within the group.
