Our client a major player in the financial services sector is looking to recruit a Project Manager to manage a number of key project streams within a business critical programme.
You will work on the Asset Services Programme on full lifecycle projects. You will be ensuring the successful delivery large scale projects combining both technology and business requirements. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and be able to monitor and drive these forward in a disciplined and structured manner. Typically you will be involved in :
Ensuring compliance with all governance standards for project management and reporting.
Project financial control.
Resource management
Vendor management
Steering committees
Project communication
Management of offshore vendors and development teams
Ideally you will have exposure to working with Agile and Scrum however this is not essential. You should be able to demonstrate a track history of managing large scale full cycle projects and again ideally in banking or finance environment and be comfortable managing steering committees and communicating at senior management level.
