Top tier investment bank requires Qualified Accountant to perform a pivotal role within their Emerging Markets team.
Main roles and responsibilities:
·P&L reporting and explain (Cash Equities, Equity Derivatives, and Equity Linked Financing)
·Front to back reconciliations
·Trade validation and New deal analysis
·Provisions calculation and analysis
·Commentaries and management reporting
·Stop Loss and Key Control monitoring
·Analysis of trading portfolio including obtaining expert product knowledge
·Trader Support, PCG/ IT/ Ops / Bookings
·Ad hoc projects / investigations
·Supervising, training and managing the workload of a senior executive
Required skills and experience:
·Qualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA (or overseas equivalent)
·Good Maths / Science / Business based degree from a top tier university
·2:1 degree or equivalent
·Good verbal and written presentation skills
·Able to demonstrate and evidence keen interest in Financial Services
·Experienced Excel user
·Experience of managing and coaching junior team members
·Investment banking background
·Equities or other complex asset class will be highly regarded
