Our client a major player in the financial services sector is looking to recruit a number of Technical Architects to join its Asset Services IT Programme.
As a Technical Architect you will be required to drive the technical approach across several IT streams within the programme ensuring teams adopt high quality development and design practices and lead complex functional and technical projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for :
Defining overall architecture – technology stack, communications, messaging, workflow, integration, protocols etc.
Work with Functional leads and wider project teams to define overall methodology and high level solution design.
Work with development teams on detailed design and implementation.
Setting of development standards.
Assessing code and build quality through metrics.
Liason with Infrastructure teams (networks, hardware messaging etc)
You should have exposure to Agile / SCRUM, Java, Flex and Web Apps and Servers. Weblogic, Websphere and ideally have experience of Oracle 10g.
Experience in the Banking or Financial sectors is beneficial however not essential.
