Due to an increase in activities, this top-tier foreign investment bank is seeking a programme manager to drive cross divisional and new businesses projects across APAC. The incumbent will partner the Rates & Credit businesses and all the functional groups to strategise and execute new business initiatives for the group.
Scope of Role:
- Interact with business management to understand their needs and ascertain solutions
- Translate the business strategy into executable plans and see these plans through to implementation
- Identify risks and issues and ensure program stakeholders are updated
- Direction & management for the project team - allocating tasks, monitoring progress, ongoing control/co-ordinate the work of the project team
- Project/Program manage - prepare and maintain detailed and accurate project and resource plans
- Work with Project Managers to ensure proper project status reporting and issue log tracking to support project management process controls and effective communication to various business units and the Steering Committees are in place
- Coordinate with all infrastructure representatives to ensure the required change is efficiently and effectively planned & implemented
Key Requirements:
- Proved track record of project/program management within financial services industry
- Good understanding of financial products
- Demonstrated ability to drive and innovate change
- Extensive experience in running projects/programmes in an investment banking context
- Experiences in running business programmes (new branches opening, new businesses/products, change programmes and etc)
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Proven stakeholders management skills
