JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Understand the performance goals of each of the Japan team and the appropriate courses available to support these.
2. Communicate the corporate programs to the region and work cross-functionally with multiple levels of management to design and implement the schedules that support Japan’s business requirements.
3. Develop and monitor the program budget; analyze cost effectiveness
4. Develop and direct implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; interpret and comply with all applicable regulations.
5. Perform strategic analysis, strategic planning and financial analysis; research, compile and analyze supporting program metrics.
6. Delivery of Sales Training – Sales Performance Office workshops (SPO) in Japan.
7. Attend and contribute to regular local meetings as well as remote team meetings with members in APAC and the US.
8. Open, close classes and manage student rosters within the LMS system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical and educational requirements:
- A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree is required or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience is required
- Prior experience in a similar regional role within Japan at a technology provider that is also addressing similar audience types
- Experience working with sales and services management
- Budget development and management experience, ability to forecast costs, manage billing with internal and external parties
- Superior knowledge of principles and practices of program management
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies across multiple audiences and Geographies
- Knowledge of the independent education vendors in the geo and past experience having build and managed such a network to help teach customer classes
- Have delivered training to an audience previously (Preference is in the area of sales)
