JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Manage the e-Business development team as a technical lead and application manager.
- Gather business requirements for web applications from end users and translate into technical documentation to be used by vendor staff.
- Manage local Japanese vendor development teams.
- Be responsible for Design Review of .Net components/applications to ensure they follow the architecture and design guideline/standards.
- Establish .Net design guidelines, standards and best practice.
- Resolve technical issues which are escalated from the production support team.
- Analyse business requirement and design and development .Net components/applications.
- Design and implement common web components.
- Be responsible for release management and code version control.
- Support production operation, trouble shoot issues, fix bugs and provide workarounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree related to Computing or IT
- 5+ years of developing .NET C#
- 3+ years of designing web services in .NET C#
- 2+years of team lead experience
- Experience in designing INTERNET web applications (must be able to provide URLs to web apps he/she has designed).
- Experience in designing and developing common components like logging, exception, authentication & authorization.
- Experience in full SDLC and/or Agile development: iterative development, automated build, automated unit-test, and automated functional test.
- Experience in System tests: Stress test, Performance test, Integration test, Long-running test.
- Good knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle SQL/PLSQL database design
