JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To develop analytics software to support the Electronic Trading desk.
- Working with a team of software engineers to deliver high quality software that meets business requirements.
- Understanding business requirements and communicating effectively with front office to ensure requirements are understood.
- Responding and adapting to changes requirements including providing timely impact estimates.
- Translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Communicating with front office regarding key timelines and efficiently managing development tasks.
- Effectively implementing the product technical specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicants must have 3-5 years experience in Investment Banking, Securities, Investment Management etc
- 3+years experience in developing mid to large scale software products
- Worked closely with software design engineers and contributed to the software design, test plan design etc
- Coordination across technology groups to deliver a complete solution to business requirements also including infrastructure
- Strong coding skills in at least two of the following programming
- Languages: C++, Java, Web technologies (Adobe Flex-based and AJAX-based technologies)
- Participated to the development of entirely new software products
- Improved existing in-house products
- Knowledge of Market Data Systems is (a plus)
- English skill: Fluent, Japanese skill: Not Required
