JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Work closely with users, both front and middle office to understand requirements and implement them.
- Work as part of a global development team, to ensure that a common platform for risk and PnL is developed.
- Taking business specific requirements and implementing them in generic and flexible manor to enable reuse.
- Liaise with ODR and Quant teams on implementing new analytics and models.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical and educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Discipline
- Applicants must have 3-5 years experience in Investment Banking, Securities, Investment Management etc
- 3+ years experience extensive GUI/Server side development experience
- Experience with the investment banking front office technology environment in the Interest Rate Derivatives preferable.
- Experience of the full lifecycle of software development and delivery
- Experience of Financial Risk Management applications with knowledge of financial mathematics, including how instruments are priced and risk is measured
Personal skills:
- Must be proactive & able to work on their own initiative
- Excellent verbal/written communications skills
- English skill: Fluent, Japanese skill: not Required
