JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Reporting to the Systems Team Leader, analyses, designs, and develops solutions for the host system.
- Interacts frequently with other departments and users to gather requirements to continually improve the host system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate (2-year) degree in Data Processing
- 3+years experience including 2 yrs. development coding on AS/400
- Skills: COBOL/SQL/CL
- Expertise in development life-cycle and its components
- Expertise in underlying technology employed in AS/400 computing
- Strong technical, logical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Familiar with Project Management practices and procedures
- Understanding of the data processing environment and its impact on business functions
- English skill: Business, Japanese skill: Fluent
