Project Management - Payment Operations
This is a well-established Banking Group in Asia with key business focuses on Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management and Investment Banking. Due to continued growth in Asia and strong focus to strengthen the Operational support, they are undergoing a major change program to upgrade the operational performance for payment processing and value messaging gateway in respect of the Groups underlying business streams. As a result, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Group Head of Payments to lead the team.
Responsibilities:
lead the review of the current payments platform in line with business aspirations
identify the policies and procedures that support the operational and service proposition for the Payment Operations platform
provide functional clarity around servicing and processing group wide to enhance standardisation, productivity improvement and cost effectiveness
identify opportunities for Group process/product standards, improvement and simplification and drive a continuous improvement culture
lead effective procedural documentation governance to underpin risk management, audit, key controls and compliance requirements
deliver programme and project priorities within budget and realise benefits
improve overall business operational processes and procedures, increasing revenue opportunities and minimising operating risk
communicate with key stakeholders to identify appropriate opportunities for improved service quality, develop strategies and implement
Requirements:
a university degree
minimum 10 to 12 years relevant working experience in payment operations like bulk electronic payments streams, complex and cross border payments at group level
experience in running multiple projects concurrently and managing sizeable cross-locations project teams
solid knowledge of Banking Operations
experience in full project lifecycle with familiarity in various project phases including design and analysis, business requirements/specifications development, testing
