JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Regular contact and meetings with Senior Technical Management at SIs and OEM partners and end-users.
- Set up Proof of Concepts for SIs, OEMs and end-users.
- Design and deliver training to OEM partners.
- Advice and support the company’s Business Development Managers on all aspects of technical solutions.
- Support all technical aspects of the company’s Marketing activities.
- Work closely with product management and developers at Head Office and OEM partners.
- Speak at Technical Security Conferences and seminars.
- Manage technical resources.
- Resolve all complex technical issues.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on the company security products.
- Maintain technical documentation system.
- Develop technical skills and capabilities in line with marketplace and product developments.
- Advise on all aspects of setting up POCs.
- Advise on functional specifications when required.
- Provide consultancy, system design and training.
- Maintain a technical awareness of products and trends within the transaction and application security market sector.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical and educational requirements:
- A degree in a computer-related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Analysis, etc.) or a similar discipline
- The CISSP or MCSE qualifications would be useful for this role.
- Strong commercial awareness, in addition to a technical background
- Understanding of the software development process and languages such as Java and C would be relevant.

- Knowledge of PKI solutions as applied in the Banking and Finance Sector
- Understanding of cryptography and its applications in SSL Web Servers, PKI architectures and data encryption solutions (advantage)
