Our client is a dynamic organisation with years of experience in freight movement and related industries in South Africa, and provides its clients with a total logistics solution. They provide an integrated supply chain solutions, enabled by extensive Infrastructure at the major ports within South Africa along with our strategic Airfreight and road transportation into and out of Southern Africa.

They are looking for a disciplined and methodical CA with at least 3yrs post articles experience to carve out and define this challenging position into a rewarding career in a business that aims to be truly Global within 24 months
• Assume full responsibility for the National role with a team in Cape Town, Durban. Position is based in Pomona.
• Work closely with the COO /CEO and management to ensure statutory and regulatory reporting and compliance

• Compile and comment on consolidated management accounts
• Formalise the risk management process, including the defining and implementation of the internal audit function
• Full financial management of startup businesses
• Take custody of the SAP Business One accounting system
• Provide the board with concise , well researched papers on growth related issues as requested
• Lead and manage a growing and diverse finance team
• Work very closely with CEO & national GM’s to ensure financial wellness, profitability of the business deals.
• The successful candidate would have stood out for their technical competence,
• their ability to conceptualise the bigger picture, (what the shareholders see)
• to implement, enforce and maintain the business disciplines and systems required to produce fully IFRS compliant Annual Financial Statements.
• The environment is very dynamic, hence the Finance manager needs to roll their up sleeves work closely with operations and manage their finance team.
