The Role: VP Trading (Aircraft Leasing)

Our client, a leading international aircraft leasing company operating in a variety of markets globally and with a large portfolio of existing aircraft wishes to recruit an experienced Vice President,Trading & New Aircraft Programmes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and execution of strategies to upgrade the existing portfolio of aircraft both through the sale of existing aircraft and purchases from various financial institutions and other secondary market investors.

Core Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients and act as primary interface with
original equipment manufacturers
- Negotiating sale proposals with customers
- Communicating with internal departments in relating to trading prospects
- To develop comprehensive trading strategies and meet business development/trading profit targets
- Attending relevant aviation conferences and events relevant to the assigned territory

Skill & Experience:
- Thorough understanding of commercial aviation industry gained though experience
- Wealth of experience within aircraft finance, purchasing, sales and leasing with a prominent lessor,
manufacturer or financier
- Demonstrable history of success in commercial aviation industry sales
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Analytical with strong problem solving skills
