My client is on the world’s largest institutional investors and has holdings across multiple sectors, geographies and asset classes, including public listed equities, fixed income, real estate, and private equity. The assets of this organisation are considerable, with the real estate division being in excess of $30bn. These positions will sit within the specialist finance team that serves the Real Estate Department, the part of the group that manages the fund’s international portfolio of ‘direct’ and ‘indirect’ property investments. A number of junior and senior finance positions have become available, requiring an ACA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA.



This newly created position will have responsibility for the control and monitoring of some of our current and future indirect investments. Within this role, the requirement is to assist in building a team and developing processes to monitor our investments in property related funds. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.



*In conjunction with the Investment Teams and the Global Funds Controller develop a performance monitoring report for fund investments

*Assist in developing an early warning system to highlight funds which may encounter financial or operational difficulties and produce solutions to protect investments

*For assigned fund, take control of the capital call process to ensure all calls are properly assessed and that approved payments are made on time

*Identify investment opportunities for distressed funds or GP / LP interests

*Provide support to the business when considering new investments and the appropriate strategy for our existing investments.

*Develop key internal relationships with the following ADIA departments: Internal Audit, Treasury, Accounts, others
