Responsible for the creation and delivery of the talent acquisition strategy for Robert Walters across UK, Middle East and Africa, generating and screening candidates to be presented to line managers for their consideration. Primarily the role focuses on front office recruitment consultant roles with secondary responsibility for roles across the organisation’s Group Functions.
Responsibilites
- Work as part of the UKMEA & Group Function HR team, with day to day responsibility for the recruitment of temporary or permanent staff and liaising with directors and management to identify recruitment needs across the UK MEA region
- Leadership of UKMEA Talent Acquisition team of up to 4 FTE across London and Manchester offices
- Advising on recruitment strategy and sourcing techniques for all temporary and permanent roles
- Advising on market trends and skills and offering consultative advice and market intel on competitor information
- Building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline implementing best practices across the talent acquisition team to ensure accurate MI can be reported back to the business
- Responsible for creating a congruent strategy for Robert Walters consideration of externally rung employer awards across UKMEA and then working with internal stakeholders to deliver nominations and entries as/if needed
- Creating, reviewing and updating recruitment processes to ensure best practice, internal policy compliance and external legislative compliance
- Working with internal marketing teams across UKMEA to build candidate attraction strategies and lead creation of new marketing ideas for PRC (potential recruitment consultant) attraction including brochure requests, mailers & events
- Researching new and innovative attraction tools to aid PRC attraction and selection
- Preparing and presenting quarterly business updates on hiring activity to HRD, Directors and Regional CEO.
- Providing strategic partnership with key stakeholders, ensuring they are kept abreast of all recruitment developments including attending management meetings
- Managing external relationships with vendors as and when required
- Promoting internal referral scheme and creating new initiatives to help drive attraction
- Working closely with wider HR team members to assist with staff retention and employee engagement
- Provision of regular commentary/MI on direct recruitment activity on roles filled by: referral, internally and via directly sourced methods, cost savings via direct recruitment, new initiatives to attract candidates
- "Headhunting" PRC’s from competitors through proactive approaches as well as keeping an eye on movements in the market
- Screening of CVs in line with line manager's requirements, meeting with suitable candidates for initial screening and face to face interview and recording of all direct recruitment activity on the ATS (Profile)
- Where needed, running Graduate assessment centres and attending Graduate recruitment fairs / networking events
- Acting as first point of contact for all interns and work experience candidates
- Monitoring and updating external and internal job boards, RW Careers, Workplace by Facebook with all current live vacancies
- Managing internal moves locally or internationally
- Maintain close links with other Talent Acquisition teams across rest of Robert Walters plc to ensure sharing of best practices and candidates
- General team management including weekly update meetings, holiday management, sickness, discipline etc, plus:
- Bi-annual performance reviews, including objective setting and quarterly bonus allocations
- Individual staff development, including cross skill training
Other Information
- Other duties which are reasonably within the capabilities of a staff member in this position may need to be performed from time to time, in addition to or instead of the above duties
- The requirements of this role may change over time and staff are required to comply with all such reasonable changes
- Role requires frequent short duration travel to Robert Walters UK offices – 2/3 times per month
