The Robert Walters Group is pleased to announce the inclusion of two of its European offices in Great Place to Work's 2017 list of Best Workplaces. Both Robert Walters and Walters People in the Netherlands and Walters People in France feature on this year’s list. The ranking is compiled based on empirical research done by Great Place to Work. Each year, only the highest-scoring organisations are honoured as Best Workplaces.

Best Workplace - The Netherlands

The list of Great Workplaces in the Netherlands is determined by employee’s answers to a 58-statement questionnaire as well as an evaluation of workplace policy. Only organisations which achieve a high score on both parts of the research are awarded the title, Great Place to Work. Great Place to Work surveys the levels of confidence, pride, and enjoyment within organisations.

Rob Vermaak, Managing Director for Benelux, comments:

"We're very proud of this award, particularly because it's based on an independent and anonymous survey among our own employees. You do have to expose yourself a bit as an organisation, but in return, you get an honest portrayal of which things employees value and which less so.

Currently, Robert Walters and Walters People employ 125 people in the Netherlands. Vermaak continues:

"Just two years ago, we had only about 75 employees, so we are growing fast. It’s important to make sure that people feel at home quickly and that they also feel themselves heard. We are actively involved with employee satisfaction and this award confirms the positive effect of our policy."

Best Workplace - France

In 2017, and for the second time, Walters People France has been named a Great Place to Work, in the category of companies with 50 to 500 employees.
