Robert Walters South Korea wins ‘Contribution to Job Creation’ Grand Prize for second consecutive year

Robert Walters South Korea won the Contribution to Job Creation Grand Prize for the second year running at the 2021 Happy Plus CSR Awards, co-organised by the Korea Enterprises Federation and the Association of Korean Journalists.

The awards are sponsored by seven government ministries in Korea - the Ministry of Economy & Finance, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy, Ministry of Health & Welfare, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Employment & Labour, and the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family. 

Robert Walters South Korea won for their ongoing commitment to the delivery of exceptional recruitment services, for progressing job creation during the COVID-19 pandemic and for delivering exemplary CSR initiatives. 

Robert Walters is committed to creating a significant and positive social impact and giving its employees the opportunity to conduct volunteer work. Every year the company holds its Global Charity Day where employees take part in volunteer work to raise money for local charities.

In 2020, Robert Walters South Korea employees volunteered and donated funds for a number of local community organisations including an animal rescue centre, a homeless shelter and community restaurants to help those impacted by COVID-19 pandemic related hardship Beyond donations and volunteering, Robert Walters Korea also offers special support to professionals whose careers were impacted by the pandemic by putting in place a number of initiatives integrated with their speciality as a global recruitment consultancy. 

Robert Walters Korea drives efforts in improving job recognition of less known start-ups, SMEs and international companies in Korea for new graduates and MBA students by holding mentoring sessions and actively participating in industry-specialised online events including the KOTRA Online Job Fair.

Robert Walters South Korea also supports efforts to improve job recognition of lesser-known start-ups, SMEs and global organisations in South Korea among graduates and MBA students through the delivery of mentoring sessions and participation in industry-specialised online events such as the KOTRA Online Job Fair.
