Each hour, 60 men take their own lives. We're working to #BreakTheCycle and stop men dying too young.

The Robert Walters Group was proud to sponsor the Hairy Handlebars as they embarked on the ultimate cycling challenge — riding from London to Tokyo in a bid to raise £30,000 for The Movember Foundation, a charity that aims to raise money and awareness of mental health and suicide prevention in men.

On the 21 March 2019, the Hairy Handlebars started their epic journey from Robert Walters’ London office, aiming to reach Tokyo in time for the Rugby World Cup in October.

The trip saw the ‘Mo-Bros’ ride over 6,000 miles across the largest landmass on earth, passing through 19 countries along the way.

#BreakTheCycle Campaign

As part of our purpose to power people and organisations to fulfil their unique potential, the Robert Walters Group is a committed advocate of mental health and wellbeing. That's why we're proud to work with the Hairy Handlebars to #BreakTheCycle and stop men dying too young.

Through this initiative we're encouraging all Robert Walters Group employees to do something fun, active and inclusive with colleagues — all in aid of improving wellbeing and checking in on our peers.

To raise awareness of the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, we've set a 60 goal for each challenge — be it 60 seconds, 60 minutes, 60 km, or 60 attempts!
