Robert Walters Group sponsors the Hairy Handlebars

The Robert Walters Group is proud to sponsor the Hairy Handlebars as they embark on the ultimate cycling challenge - riding from London to Tokyo in a bid to raise £30,000 for The Movember Foundation, a charity that aims to raise money and awareness of mental health and suicide prevention in men.

On the 21 March 2019, the Hairy Handlebars will start their epic journey from Robert Walters’ London office, with the aim to reach Tokyo in time for the Rugby World Cup in October.

The trip will see the ‘Mo-Bros’ ride over 6,000 miles across the largest landmass on earth, passing through 21 countries along the way.

#BreakTheCycle Campaign

As part of the Robert Walters Group's commitment to mental health and wellbeing, we're working with the Hairy Handlebars to #BreakTheCycle and stop men dying too young.

Through this initiative we're encouraging all Robert Walters Group employees to do something fun, active and inclusive with colleagues – all in aid of improving wellbeing and checking in on our peers.

To raise awareness of the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, we've set a 60 goal for each challenge -  be it 60 seconds, 60 minutes, 60 km, or 60 attempts!

The #BreakTheCycle initiative will be officially launched by the Hairy Handlebars (& friends) on 21 March in St Martin’s Courtyard, Covent Garden, as we gather to mark the ‘send-off’ on their journey eastwards.
